Mike McManus is part time surgeon who is becoming work optional through commercial real estate. His story has been a winding road that started as professional ski instructor in places like Aspen and Beaver Creek. Looking for a new challenge he entered medical school and became a urologist. Although it was a very rewarding career, he got tired of trading his time for money and started looking for opportunities to leverage his efforts and make his money work for him.

His real estate journey started with a house hack in medical school and progressed to small multifamily. Seeing how difficult it would be to scale to the point it could replace his income, he pivoted into being an LP in syndications before moving into retail and industrial commercial real estate. He now has a podcast, Surgeon Syndicate, dedicated to helping other doctors escape the golden handcuffs.
